E-invoicing software

GST e-invoicing software that works from your normal invoice

If your business is covered by GST e-invoicing, every eligible B2B invoice must be reported to the Invoice Registration Portal (IRP) to get an Invoice Reference Number (IRN) and a signed QR code. Saarthi does this from the invoice you already create, so e-invoicing becomes part of billing rather than a separate task.

There is no copying data into a government portal, no manual JSON uploads and no risk of the invoice and the e-invoice disagreeing.

What is an IRN in GST e-invoicing?

An Invoice Reference Number (IRN) is a unique number generated by the Invoice Registration Portal when an e-invoice is reported. It is returned along with a digitally signed QR code that must appear on the invoice.

Is e-invoicing required for B2C invoices?

E-invoicing applies to B2B invoices, credit and debit notes and exports. B2C invoices are not reported to the IRP, though large businesses have separate dynamic QR code requirements for B2C.

Can Saarthi generate e-way bills too?

Yes. E-way bills can be generated from the invoice details, so you don't have to re-enter information.

What turnover makes e-invoicing mandatory?

Currently, businesses with aggregate annual turnover above ₹5 crore in any financial year from 2017-18 onwards must issue e-invoices. Check the GST portal for the latest notifications.
